LinkedIn launches Premium Pages for companies

Creating a LinkedIn Company Page is something any business can do without having to pay on the professional social network, and it will have access to a wide range of tools and features to give visibility to its business and even create a community of followers on LinkedIn. This is something that, according to LinkedIn data, more than 35 million small and large companies around the world are already doing.

However, the Microsoft-owned platform since 2016 is now taking things a step further by launching Premium Company Pages, which include additional tools that will allow SMEs to grow more, interact with their audiences, and turn followers into customers, according to LinkedIn.

Of course, all this comes with a monthly subscription fee for this new format on the social network: $99 per month for a Premium Company Page on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn Premium Pages have already started rolling out in some territories such as the United States and are expected to be available worldwide by the end of July 2024.

What Additional Tools Do LinkedIn Premium Company Pages Have?

The package of additional tools that LinkedIn has prepared for SMEs and large companies subscribing to its premium service is as follows:

-Call-to-action buttons. LinkedIn now allows you to add custom call-to-action buttons on Premium Company Pages, with the intention of helping companies generate leads, attract customers, and drive conversions. They are similar to the call-to-action buttons on Facebook.

The buttons, including “Visit website” or “Make a reservation,” are displayed at the top of the Company Page, but also in feed posts and search results.

-Community growth. LinkedIn will automatically send invitations to people who interact with your Page’s content—if they don’t already follow it—or who interact with Pages similar to yours, encouraging them to start following your Page.

-See who visited your Page. Premium Page administrators on LinkedIn will be able to access statistics and see who visited their Page (as long as that person allows it in their profile settings).

-Publish reviews and testimonials to increase credibility. Companies with a Premium Page can showcase awards they have received, certifications, client testimonials, media mentions, and more. These are displayed at the top right of the Premium Company Page, as well as in search results.

-Premium badge. Additionally, the Page receives a gold “IN” badge, indicating that it is a company with the Premium service on the professional social network, which can also increase its credibility.

-AI-generated content. Companies with a Premium Page can access the AI writing assistant to turn their ideas into well-structured article drafts, which in theory, according to LinkedIn, will allow them to focus on managing conversations and interacting with their audiences.

-Additional benefits. Premium Pages that meet LinkedIn’s requirements may receive additional perks such as $500 in LinkedIn advertising credit, three months of free access to tools like DropBox, Microsoft 365, GoDaddy, and Hootsuite, among others.
