Kingston launches Server Premier DDR5 UDIMM and SODIMM ECC memory modules at 5200 MT/s and 5600 MT/s

Kingston Technology Company, a global leader in memory products and technology solutions, announced the launch of its Server Premier DDR5 DIMM and SODIMM ECC unbuffered memory modules with speeds of 5600 MT/s and 5200 MT/s and capacities of 16GB and 32GB.

For more than 35 years, Kingston has been the trusted memory brand for leading server manufacturers and the world’s largest data centers. Server Premier is Kingston’s industry-standard server memory solution with specifications for use in white box or assembled systems. It is also validated for the Intel platform and qualified by major motherboard and computing system manufacturers.

With a locked BOM (Bill of Materials) to provide consistent branding and revision of key components included—such as DRAM chips, PMIC chip, SPD Hub, thermal sensors, and PCB—all Kingston server memory solutions are 100% tested and undergo a rigorous dynamic burn-in process designed to detect early-life failures at the factory.

“We are proud to announce the availability of DDR5 5600 MT/s and 5200 MT/s speeds for unbuffered ECC DIMM and SODIMM modules,” said Mike Mohney, Senior DRAM Technology Manager at Kingston. “The new Intel and AMD DDR5 systems with ECC support will be able to take advantage of the best data integrity available in these new modules.”

            In addition to the On-die ECC (ODECC) integrated into all DDR5 DRAM chips, these new modules include an additional DRAM to support the ECC (Error Correction Code) algorithm in compatible Intel and AMD processors, which improves data integrity and stability in conventional and mobile workstations.
