Kingston appoints Geraldine Stack as Business Development Manager for Flash and SSDs in Latin America

With the goal of strengthening its leadership and positioning in the region, Kingston Technology Company, Inc., a world leader in memory products and technology solutions, has appointed Geraldine Stack as Flash Business Development Manager for Latin America. This position includes the robust line of Solid State Drives (SSD) and IronKey security USBs, as well as the complete range of SD cards, Micro SD, and USB drives.

“Geraldine’s appointment is a key decision to address the various challenges and opportunities the business offers in Latin America. The market has changed significantly over the last two years and customer requirements are different,” said Carolina Maldonado, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Latin America at Kingston Technology.

“I am confident that Geraldine’s experience and leadership will allow us to focus better and help maintain the planned growth for the region, especially now that we have new differentiated products available.”

The Flash business is an important market segment in Latin America for Kingston Technology, which maintains a large market share across all its product lines. Over the past seven years, under Geraldine’s leadership, the SSD division has achieved steady growth throughout the region. Geraldine’s new responsibilities include developing strategies that respond to market changes and help customers grow their business, while the company consolidates its number one position, especially now that it is driving differentiated products that include encryption, such as the recently launched IronKey SSDs and USBs, which address a crucial need these days.

“Kingston is a company that always motivates us to excel. I am very excited about this new challenge, where my main goal will be to strengthen Kingston’s positioning and leadership, and to develop strategies for each product in its segment,” said Geraldine. “I face the great challenge of understanding customers’ needs, listening to their requirements so we can develop sustainable growth plans, while working with the channel to position products according to the business reality and each market.”

Geraldine has a solid track record in Kingston’s sales area, where she has worked for over 18 years. Since 2014, she has been responsible for the SSD unit in Latin America, achieving year-over-year business growth throughout the region.
